Many of us are facing hard times. In our efforts to find solutions to our challenges, we too often fall into negative thinking and anxiety. To avoid getting stuck in hopelessness, I've begun reminding myself of all the many times God has answered my prayers. Time after time, He's made a way where there wasn't one.
God answers prayer after prayer. He sends answers to extremely difficult situations in completely unexpected ways. But, even in the midst of loss, I've found myself grateful and blessed with peace, because He was with me.
No matter what we are facing, God is bigger.
"Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious--the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not to curse. Put into practice what you learned froom me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.
.....Receive and experience the amazing grace of the Master, Jesus Christ, deep, deep, within yourselves."
